Well, I'd like to start up a mock draft where the teams would draft a whole NHL team of players drafted in the last 5 years. It's kind of a stolen idea, but it'll work. There'll be about 5 teams, which should do right. If there are 4 people interested, post in here, and we'll get started right away. Also, pick a team name. I could care less if it's created or a real sports team. I'm going with the Anaheim Mighty Ducks. So if you're interested, sign up ASAP, and we'll get it started.

Teams:

1.Anaheim Mighty Ducks-Hercules Rockefeller
2.Vancouver Canucks-BrooklynCanuck
3.Costa Rica Thunder-aaronm_88
4.St.Louis Blues-ORBluesFan
5.Hamilton Steelhawks-dwaynester

Draft order will be released once all 5 teams have signed up. There will be 23 rounds, 115 picks. 12 forwards, 6 defensemen, and 2 goalies must be drafted, and than 3 spares, whichever position you want. There'll be a 6 hour time limit, to speed up the process.

I'll join...Montreal Canadiens...but I'm going to be away all weekend. Any chance you guys could start on Monday or something? If not, well then give priority to someone who can start right away.

Sorry, but an enlarged commitment to another league is going to force me to pull out. Hope the draft goes well though.

lets give it a go

why not, what can it hurt.

we are only drafting from the last 5 years, so that is 2000-2004, or 1999-2004.

and what are the rosters:

13 F, 7D and 3G

The Hamilton Steelhawks are honoured to be a part of this draft. Just PM me when everything is ready to go

You have to draft 12 forwards, 6 defense, 2 goalies. The last three can be any position you want.

It's from 2000-2004.

I'll make up the draft order tonight, PM whoever's on the clock, and we'll start ASAP.

To keep this thing rolling, folks, PM the person who is next up. It'd be appreciated.

Now, with our next two selections, 5th and 6th overall, we'd like to select RW Dany Heatley and LW Ilya Kovalchuk!

Also just a thought...It might be wise to start an entirely different thread for ppl to post their rosters...just makes it easier to find and neater if they are all in one spot...
