I don't think they're interchangeable. Keep the center at center, keep the winger on the wing. Makes no sense to play them both at a position they aren't as good at.

its tough with 2 lws though. and benn can play center. but hall-seguin-benn probably makes the most sense.

From what I've seen of him, Benn can play center the same way Cammalleri and Tanguay could play center. He can fill in and do a decent job, but he's far from suited for it.

Yeah this would pretty much be the lines, except Seguin at centre and Benn on wing. That 2nd like would be the all out offence line and would probably lead the tournament in scoring, but the top like would produce and play suffocating shutdown defence against the other teams top firepower.

Its Crosby because;

- respect
- he's older more experienced
- he's already won everything multiple times.
- McDavid hasn't won anything yet.

In a room where you have just McDavid and Crosby, Crosby is Alpha, McDavid is Beta.

It' Crosby for all those reasons but also and mostly because he's still arguably better/as good as McDavid. If McDavid had clearly surpassed him you pick him despite those other reasons.

Crosby and Bergeron have been pretty interchangeable from centre to wing when they've played internationally together. Makes no difference which one is called centre. But that's your 1st line without a doubt. And with how well Marchand fits - that's it.

As of today (if all of a sudden they were playing in the Olympics and had to lock in players) in order - not who's best but who you want on your team.
