The circle of life is complete. The Caps drafted him in the 6th round in 2016 and after a standout career at Quinnipiac he elected not to sign with Washington. Hershey will be the sixth AHL team he’s played on in eight seasons as a pro.

Long road to finally wind up back with the original team that drafted him. He chose not to sign with them, electing to sign with Carolina instead, who then traded him to Florida the same season as part of a package for Trochek.

Team played better after he got traded. Coach called out his apathetic play at least once for getting beat to the puck behind the net.

Not sure on how his time in Rochester went, but he was amazing in San Diego. I'm surprised we didn't press harder to bring him back honestly.
