Any recommendations for books that get more into the business and financial side of things? I’m like most in that the best three books I’ve read are Bret Hart’s, Jericho’s first book and Foley’s first book. I’d like to hear more from guys who travelled with the WWE in the mid to late 80’s who were doing like 300 shows a year. The problem is most of them are dead from the lifestyle. I think Ventura and Greg Valentine would be good reads.

I read his second one only. It was good. I'd give it a 7 out of 10. I don't remember the specifics but you could tell he's a guy that just got insulted by McMahon but never stood up for himself. McMahon seemed to have walked all over him for years.

Ole Andersons “inside out”. If you want to know how to run a wrestling territory, start here. Nothing else like it.

Gary Harts book is impossible to find but worth listening to as it was uploaded in audio form on YouTube. I paid 100 bucks for the actual book and sold it for 3k.

Lou Thesz book “Hooker” is a period piece and shows this business was filled with scumbags from the beginning.

Not reading no book Jericho wrote and found Foleys book to be warm garbage. Bret Harts book is the diary of a narcissist.

Because, as legend, it was really, really limited. It wasn’t in stores outside of Texas and was pretty much only available thru a website.

It’s not worth whatever god awful amount it’s valued at, but the stories are great. I think it’s been uploaded onto the internet along with the Hart wife book that was pulled outta circulation that’s still in book stores if you look hard enough ( Altho I think all the bogus stuff has been edited out)

I do know a few years ago the IWC was goating Harts book which was mostly guys who had a copy and we’re trying to get top dollar for it. I know one person who paid five grand for it and that’s when I sold mine. He’s goes into detail about the Von Erich boys and Gino Hernandez and tells alot of stuff never told about them.

I vaguely remember her talking about Davey Boy sexually assaulting her but don't remember how detailed it was. I have no recollection of the dog viagra thing and that seems like something I would remember. So I'm thinking I got the edited version. But I read it over a year ago. I don't remember specific stories but I do remember thinking it was one of the most ridiculous book I've ever read. Same as Sunny and Vince Russo's books.

I enjoyed Gary Hart's book. Good anecdotes, very easy to read, and covers an interesting period in a variety of locations. Its mystique sort of reminds me of how Vertigo became so highly regarded, as Hitchcock ensured that it became a very hard to see movie fir 20 years or so and its reputation grew significantly.
