Chevy is making strong moves.

They are going to have incredible depth.

Adding Mason and Kulikov would be massive. That's two areas at which we need help taken care of for now.

I'd be happy with nothing more than depth/AHL signings from here on out.

Ehlers - Scheifele - Laine
Connor - Little - Wheeler
Perreault - Roslovic - Armia
Copp - Lowry - Dano

Morrissey - Trouba
Enstrom - Byfuglien
Kulikov - Myers

Mason
Hellebuyck

That looks like a really deep defense corps, but is there going to be enough ice time to keep everybody happy there long term?

Morrissey - Trouba will be the big minute muncher. They should be getting around 25 min a game.

Enstrom - Byfuglien is capable of eating a bunch of minutes and playing a strong game.

Kulikov - Myers will see the least minutes. However, historically we have played our 3rd line the least in the NHL. They should get 10 to 15 min a game.

Injuries will always be a thing, so it's not like we can run with those six all year long, but if you split the ~120 minutes between the six...

Trouba 24
Buff 24
Morrissey 20
Enstrom 18
Myers 17
Kulikov 17

= 120 minutes.

Might be a bit too much but at least it's nice to be taking care of needs for a change. I'm ok with this.

They better be hoping that he's able to rebound from being on a bad Sabres team and being injured for most of last year. That's a lot more money than I wanted to see the Jets spend.
