Soooo I guess this is assuming Winnipeg is moving out Myers? Otherwise that right side seems too crowded to add Andersson. Think the value is alright though

Yeh Myers likely on the move. They have Poolman who could slot into that spot but after that RHD depth is thin.

Is Rasmus top pairing potential? Vesalainen def has top line potential based off the season he just had in Liiga.

Guy’s been a top pairing guy in the AHL as a 20 and 21 year old. Also an AHL all star. I think his floor is of a middle pairing PP specialist.

If Stone proves to be unmovable I'd probably do it. Calgary needs all the young forward depth they can get their hands on. I'm a bigger Armia fan than most though.

Rasmus is IMO NHL ready and a pretty sure bet to be a top 4 defenseman in the not too distant future.

Man, I really have to think on this one. I like Andersson better than any of our D prospects except Valimaki maybe, but this one does make me think.

I'd "guess" we'd be more likely to move him as part of a package for an upgrade like Girard was for Nashville, or for a more 1 for 1 sort of swap instead of multiple pieces coming back.

Value is probably there, just not sure if I pull the trigger without more thought. Petan likely doesn't play C for us, and to my understanding he's played more LW, which is decently stacked for us assuming Bennett isn't moved, so that might play a part in it as well.

Andersson looks to have unlimited potential, he's excelled everywhere. The onl;y issues with him have been conditioning and nutrition, both of which he was worked very hard on and recently moved to Calgary to work on it even more with the team.

Petan shoots left but plays a 3 forward positions. TSN has him listed as RW while Capfriendly & SN have him as LW/RW. Good versatile player but a victim of the Jets being over loaded @ forward. I personally like him but do prefer the players waiting to take his spot. It's the #s game but in this case so many good young forwards but not enough spots for all.
But he's not the key piece. That would be Armia who IMO the Jets prefer to re-sign.

There's a lot to love about Andersson but I would strongly consider this trade

It's a good offer but I really don't want to move Andersson. For me to move him, I'd like a better RW coming back even if we have to add onto it to make that happen. I'm not as big a fan of Armia as some are. As someone mentioned above though, I'd offer Kylington for Armia?

I would do Armia for Kylington.

Wouldn't trade 3 Rasmus Anderssons for 1/2 a Schiefle and a Trouba

From the Jets perspective on that one yes, I wouldn’t do that, Troubas well worth more value than that alone and add the fact it would be pretty gross having to debate which half of Scheifeles body we keep and get rid off and send to the Flames.

Wow, clearly you have no idea what your talking about. Worst thing i have read today, and I read the EK-hoffman thread.

So apparently saying Vesalainen’s worth is so much higher than Anderssons is worse than a woman bullying another woman after and before her horrific and tragic stillbirth, that’s not heartless.

3 times worth shows your clueless. I reserve judgement on whatever happens either way, glad the jury virdict is in and she is 100% guilty. A restraining order says nothing, says the who knows how many guys that had restraining orders put on them and were later found innocent.

No thanks Andersson is gonna be a future top 4 d man for us.
 So ....... will he be the 6th or the 7th top4 D man for the Flames?

Seriously, what is Calgary going to do with all the D? Already a loaded top 4 with Valimaki, Fox, Kylington and Andersson in the system.

Flames don't need Andersson. They need RW's. And a goalie.
