Looks almost like an updated Vanilla WoW.

Interesting timing considering they also announced that they're going to be making an official Vanilla server.

Vanilla servers is definitely interesting. I have a lot of nostalgia for vanilla. I just wonder how well it holds up with all the QoL improvements Blizzard has made.

Vanilla is the only flavor of WoW that I've ever played. It could be neat to return to the game after 12 years and re-play exactly what I remember, with it hitting all of the right nostalgia notes and not overwhelming me with changes and new content. That first month of WoW, leveling up from 1 to 60, was some of the most fun that I've had in an online game. That could be fun to do over again.

Did all of that and have no interest in doing it all over again.

Not really sure how to feel about the new expansion though honestly.

I guess one thing that's an issue is the leveling. I think a lot of people forgot how long it takes to get to 60 back in vanilla. It's something like 10 full days played.

Exactly.
Plus, no mount until level 40 and it was the 60% speed one, and for some classes it was a pain in the ass to level even past level 40.

Can't get enough of that cinematic. Best since Wrath to me. Legion opener is Varian telling his son that peace is the most noble of aspirations, but he must be willing to fight for it. BfA is Anduin fighting for the peace he wants. Pure pottery.

I wonder where they're going to go with this new expansion. Surely you can't have two years and three or four raids just from the Horde fighting the Alliance. Also, if Sylvanas dies, I'll be pissed.
