Really looking forward to this game.
I saw Square Enix do a stream play of this about two weeks ago or so and it looked really good.

Glad I preordered this when I did. Got it for $60 on Amazon back in July, then it went up to $80 and now they seem to be out of preorders.

I played about 15 minutes of it, seems to be a bit of a learning curve to it that I need to understand (was pretty confused to be honest)....had to run out so i'll restart it again tomorrow or thursday and finish it up then. Heard it's only about 45 minutes.

Famitsu loves a Final Fantasy game? Nooooo... Shocking.

I don't think they've ever given a FF game less than 34 or 35 (so no worse than 2x 9/10 and 2x 8/10) and for the last few games in the main series (no sequels, no spinoffs) I don't think it's been less than 38.


This looks interesting, but I don't think I want to pay full price for it (so like 70-80 Cdn) Maybe after christmas when I there's a markdown or used copies start popping up at EB.

That's like a mediocre Famitsu score for a Final Fantasy.

On a serious note, this game looks really neat, and would envoke a ton of nostalgia. Sadly, similar to the likes of a Ni No Kuni, I don't think I will ever get around to playing this.

That would be you're postal service. If you email amazon though they will likely give you $10 credit since you didnt receive it on the day you were suppose to

Got mine today (from amazon), and LOVE it. Put in about 4.5 hours, I don't think i've played a game that long in years in one sitting. This is a TRUE JRPG game and if you were a fan of the old FF games, you will love this. They bring back some of the classic music too, battle system is top notch.

Loving it so far.

Finally got my copy and giving it a go, I love this. I'm having a lot of fun just catching monsters. The humor in this game is great, too. I'm not too far into it, just finished chapter 2.

Great music as well.
