A little from both, I've really gotten attached to the Easton Z-Carbons, composite blade, wood stick, and it has a really nice feel to it.

Choosing from just wood and composite I'd choose composite, the wood sticks I like keep going out of production, or no store in town carries them, that really pisses me off.

Well looking at my stick collection I have the following:

Easton Stealth
Easton Ultra Lite
Easton Octane
Easton Synergy
Easton Cyclone
Koho Corebeam
Mission Dangler

Composite and one piece for me.

Harder shot? Well, yea. However, if you don't have a good shot, don't bother to switch to comp. And besides, how many times per game do you get to shoot? It's not the shooting that makes you a player, but passing and stick-handling. For that wood is better unless you go to really expensive comp stuff that allow you to read a benefit of weight difference.
