Finnally we will be able to see this guy play at a decent level.
    We? No! You will be.

Any updates on how is doing with Central Illinois?
I did see him play couple times last season and sure an NHL team would give him a chance at the draft. Didn't happen.
Do u see any chance will be drafted in 2018?

I have not seen him play. Hopefully he'll still be with Central Illinois when I visit Bloomington in early January. And BTW, you could see him play if you have local access to the USHL's FastHockey web network.

I see that Stachowiak was linked to the Vancouver Canucks plans in the build up to the 2017 NHL draft. With exposure in the USHL, there's always a chance that a player will catch some NHL scout's eye & a team or two will consider him for later round draft slots. Stachowiak certainly helped his own cause by recording 3 points (2G, 1A) in his second game this past weekend, but he will have to sustain those sorts of numbers for a period of time before people besides the fans take notice. With his rank in the low 200's for the previous NHL draft class, he is a long shot at best. But best of luck to him.
