I think it could come down to which goalie out does the other. Two of the top goaltenders in the tournament Fleury & Schwarz going at it.

This game will hopefully test Fleury and get him into game shape for the real rounds ahead.

I'll be at the game - and rooting for Canada since a Czech victory would both knock Finland to the third place even if the hosts beat Switzerland and wreck their chances to make the quarters in case Finland is defeated.

The Czech offense isn't quite working, 3-1 Canada.

To erase any early confusion on Brent Burns' penalty, he got Checking To The Head, which carries an automatic 10-minute Misconduct.

EDIT:

...and I cannot find the rule in the IIHF Rulebook. I recognized the singal that Andersson (referee) made. I shall send one of my famous emails to the IIHF. ;)

And Tambellini puts the Canadians up 1-0. :)

What a nice passing play!

2-0 Canada

With every goal Canada gets, the situation becomes more comfortable. Now that Canada has 2 goals, the Czechs need 4 to knock Canada out of first place in a 3-way tie situation.
