Canada had no major problems defeating Switzerland. I do however think the Czechs may have it tougher.

    Prediction
    5-3 Czech Republic

Is there a link to a radio broadcast of this game possibly? And what's the Eastern Time of this game? Thanks.

My prediction is 3-2 Czech Republic. Tight game, good action both ways.

  3. Does anybody know how the mood is in the Czech dressing room?

Are these "Czech league vs. CHL" rumours legitimate?

I'll go 4-1 Czechs but I'm pulling for Suisse.

5-4 Czechs. I would not be surprized if the Swiss win this game.

3-3 tie. Should be a close game.

Big game. Swiss are in a pretty good position in a way as they got basicly two chances to advance, either beat Czechs today or Finns tomorrow. Still, I think Czechs will take this one 3 - 1.

I think the Swiss give them a run for their money, but the Czechs prevail. 5-3.

I know the Czech will win the game, because Daniel Manzato isn't a top Goalie.
With Stephan in the goal and some other injured players like Lemm, etc...
    (We) could beat the Czechs.
Hell Stephan would be one of the best Goalkeepers.....

Surprisingly enough it's 1-1 past the halfway mark of the first period:

0-1 Czech Republic 4. NEMEC, Ondrej (21. KLEPIS, Jakub) 05.23
    1-1 Switzerland 13. GRAUWILER, Lukas (12. BENOIT, Yvan) (18. TRACHSLER, Morris) 07.24

Looked at the stats, and man this seems like a chippy affair! Penalties left and right.

Looks like a 2-1 Czech victory. Congrats to the Swiss, and a somewhat Biblical WOE! to the Czechs.

I don't know if that is the case this year but it has been a problem in past years. I believe that at one time the Czech team refused to add players from the CHL.

There were a couple of years where Petr Kanko was not allowed to play for the Czech championship teams because he defected to the CHL. This is his 1st time back with the Czechs since he left.

What a bunch of idiots. If they were in a position to win the tournament, then I could understand screwing around like this, but you gotta put the best team on this, even if it hurts your feelings.
