Freaking love it. All three picks as late risers.

Not to compare every player I know to a Sen, but I see Kyle Turris in Glass.

Turris is a top 20 or so center, but if Glass can pack on the pounds, with his hockey IQ, and developed defensive game, there is true 1C potential.

It would not surprise me at all to see a legit 70 point first line center in about 4 to 5 years.

Turris is a very apt comparison and who I was using before the draft.

Yep I don't get the 2C nonsense with this kid. He's big enough to hold his own in the west against top lines. Not a defensive liability, in fact shows very good instincts and give a <bleep> there. Quick hands on rebounds, goes to net, plenty of speed. And his passing was way better than I initially thought it was. Full package, if he develops he shouldn't have a problem being a 1C.

Here's some of his highlights:

Theodore is still technically a prospect.

Not now lol. I get you of course. But homey is going to get a lot of ice time in a top four pairing with Vegas. Sink or swim kid!

And judging from a limited look last year I am confident he'll swim just fine.

It's the other blueliners I worry about.

Moot since we traded our pick, but I would have totally been despondent if Glass made it past you guys to seven. Really think Glass will have a strong chance to be the best player from this draft class.

Heck of a haul by McPhee so far.

Thinking he walks right onto Vegas next season. Not rookie of the year, but one of the top three players and leaders in scoring.

I would say Theodore is still our second best if not best prospect at the moment.

He's already shown the ability to play in the NHL. At worst he bottoms out as a #5 PP specialist.

I like Theodore think hes gonna be a good one I just think Glass and Suzuki have the potential to be great

I don't think they should rush him unless he really can't improve in juniors anymore. He's got a lanky frame to grow in to.

One last note re: Glass... Anyone else notice how natural he was with all the press attention? He's got a real easy demeanor and confidence about him that is going to make him a fan and media favorite.

If this kid lives up to expectations on the ice watch out.
