Winter Classic ticket prices?

So last year, around mid-September, I bought some Winter Classic tickets. They weren't cheap, but they weren't toooo bad either.

And I'm looking right now on the same site, same seat area, and the prices have all gone up by $200. Is it because it's not even August yet? If I wait a month and a half they'll be cheaper?

Or... what is going on?

I would buy the week of or before. Tickets online are always incredibly pricy early on, you gotta give events time

I don't know how I was even entered but apparently I won a Leafs drawing to buy up to four tickets. It forces you to buy an AHL game too but that one is cheap enough. I considered buying and selling but I'm still undecided.

Anyone able to make use of the presale? I can review and forward the email as long as it doesn't have my info in it. It seems like a guarantee at 1-4 face value tickets, which according to the map they sent me aren't really that expensive all things considered.
