I'd be on board with trading Suess' rights before FA period. The Jets are loaded on talent up front, and he may think his best avenue is free agency. I certainly won't lose any sleep if he declines not to sign with the Jets.

The way the Jets system seems to be developing players at the Moose level, I wonder if these guys would be inclined to actually sign their ELCs and accept the development program here, rather than try to fast track it. Seems to me that developing properly would lead to a better career than chasing a roster spot and possibly stunting your own growth while doing it.
