Did I read that correctly? He's 6'0" and 163 pounds?
I hope he's chauffeured between the rink and the gym for a few years before he gets snapped in half over here.

I know that not everybody needs to be a hulk, but I hope he's chauffeured between the rink and the gym for a few years before he gets snapped in half over here.
Kronwall was pretty much the same size when he was drafted.
All these kids are twigs outside of a few manchildren. And even then, NHL stats pad some players. You won't ever convince me Mike Ribeiro has ever weighed over 150 pounds

Will be nice to compare him with Saarijarvi in the same league.
That'll be an interesting comparison.
I'm mostly interested in seeing how he stacks up against other D-men in general throughout the league. Hopefully he has a good year logging some big minutes.
4 years effective Gym training and he'll be 190-200lbs. That's two years in juniors and 2 seasons at Griffins.
A project.

At least he doesn't look to have body fat... there's some visible muscles to do a workout.
Wright, the Red Wings director of amateur scouting, said of Hronek after the club selected him: "We had him extremely high. He's a very good skater, has very good hockey sense, a very good puck-mover. He can run a power play. He plays with a little bit of a bite. He's not the biggest guy, which is a little bit of a downside, but everything else he did well for us to not overlook."
Is it normal to sign a prospect at 18? I read he had one year left in his EU league, was drafted by a OHL team so by signing him to an ELC that negates his contract in the EU. Is this true?
