The Detroit fans have been getting extra value for their money these days as the Wings have gone into overtime in 3 of their 4 games so far. The fans have also been treated to lots of scoring as there has been an average of 8 goals scored per game with lots of lead changes to both excite and frustrate their followers.
Now, while the fans may be happy, the GM is having fits. Despite some roster and line shuffling prior to last night's game the result was the same ... badly outshot by their opponents but producing just enough offence of their own to eek out a point.
GM Niece knows he has been lucky to even get the single points so far and must find a way to lower the shots against if the team has any chance of getting things back on track.
