I really wonder if they shouldn't force goalies to wear white pants. It seemed to be on his hip and he was deep in the net but I think because of that deep blue they couldn't see the puck.

Rinne gave up 2 goals he takes on his best day.
1 double ricochet and 1 5 on 3 Power play goal aren't on him.

Let's be glad that our goalie is the type to steal games.

Yeah they were both rough chances to make a save on. Frankly the main one he probably should have had was the MacKinnon one.

Well I'm just happy with the teams fight and never giving up. They worked their butts off in this game. It's only been two games and I'm already tired. Feels like we are playing a second round playoff and not a first round playoff.

I'm glad the got the win, but it seems like we always play to the level of our competition, whether up or down. Part of that is that we're great at letting teams back into winnable games with dumb mistakes and stupid penalties (see: 5v3 tonight).

I'd like to see a more complete effort, especially defensively and in terms of discipline.

Ehh, last two goals were a 5 on 3 where he was screened and it deflected, the last one was a blocked shot that somehow managed to go right back to Kerfoot and then deflected off Rantanen. Not much Rinne could do there.

There was a minor deflection on the MacKinnon goal as well. Ellis? got a bit of MacKinnon's blade which caused the puck to go lower than Rinne anticipated. But at the same time he overplayed the stick side for sure.

If you’ve ever played goalie before, it’s really hard to read the release of a shot off the backhand. Especially from the slot, it’s going to take a helluva shot to go in and it did.

We've beaten them 12 times in a row. Winning one in Denver wont require "stealing" it will just require us to play like we can for 60 minutes.
