Staying in that top three is what matters most. Where they finish doesn't matter as much to me as long as they stick in the mix. The central is far tougher than any other division in the league. It's similar to the NFC South but on a greater scale. Five teams in the central are going to make the playoffs. Chicago and Minnesota currently out of a playoff spot. They'd be tied in points with the Canadiens for third in the Atlantic right now.

I think we are the odds on favorite with that trade. He is the MVP so far. I've criticized Poile for a lot, but this was a great move that has made the team.
