Wild get 1st win

Minnesota notched their 1st win in game #3 last nite, beating Nashville 5-1. After 2 terrible games, a little line juggling seemed to work wonders. Yanic Perreault and Mike Ribeiro switches spots on the 1st and 2nd line with Ribeiro skating on the 1st line. Both guys scored a goal, Perreault was +2 and Ribeiro acutally was credited with a hit!

Greg deVries was dropped to the 2nd pair, switching spots with Bret Hedican and had a great game with an assist, +2 and 4 hits.

Minnesota will try to make it 2 in a row tonight at home against Phoenix.

....and after 3 games, the Wild are the only team to score a goal on the red-hot Islanders.

Minnesota will try to make it 2 in a row tonight at home against Phoenix.

Minnesota did make it 2 in a row as 4 different goal scorers tallied a marker in a 4-3 win over the 'Yotes.

However, more disturbing news in that only 11,000 showed up in "The State of Hockey". The new NHL must not be popular anywhere anymore
