Watching our Leafs every game it's easier to see the flaws and not be swept up in the hopeful greatness of our younger players. I believe we mostly need a forward like Tkachuk. Talented and plays with an edge. Brady Tkachuk is in this draft we have assets to move up and select him. Also our blue line is far from perfect. Reilly is solid, Z is slipping. When Jake plays well we seem to be really tough. Consistency is a lot to ask from Jake.
We're still at least a year away IMO. Strange things happen in the playoffs though and who knows it might fall our way this year. I'm glad Lou didn't get crazy and trade assets this year. This summer and next years deadline i can see Lou being much more aggressive.
