some real close polls of late, aside from Nash running away with #8. This is probably going to be another real interesting one.

I'm going with Altshuller, based solely on HOPE that he actually ends up that good a prospect.

Yeah, that's what I went for. It's basically a crapshoot now between guys who haven't established themselves yet in the NHL (Boychuk, Palushaj, Terry, Dadonov) and guys who may either amount to something or bust (Altshuller, Levi, etc).

Since we could really use a good goalie prospect, I've been picking Altshuller for the past few rounds in hopes that his development continues in the positive direction.

You will continue to see Chris Terry getting one vote until everyone remembers him. He has flaws but he's much further along his development path than most prospects.

I was pushing Terry last year at this time. I agree with you but think his footspeed will stunt whatever NHL career he may have. He's super talented for the A, but a touch slow for the show. Like him alot though.

I went with Carrick as I think he is exactly what we need in this org. Talented yet tough. He'll be a solid pro for us for a long time IMO.

Since Hofmann refuses to sign here he won't get my vote. **** him.

I voted Blanchard, he can fight, and isn't a complete waste of space on the roster like Westgarth. I think he has a real shot at sticking most of the season, especially if guys like Bowman and Welsh fail to impress again.

I voted for Hofmann. Kid's got skills and has progressed nicely in the Swiss league. Just don't hold out much hope that Jimmy can get him over here. After him, from what I heard and read, our Karlsson is the real deal.

Karlsson has a nice skillset, but he's very slight for an NHL player. I think he'll be a good solid asset for a European team, not sure if he can play a North American game though.
