Alright, only 5 GM spots avaiable. Hopefully they will be filled before the weekend is out, and we'll start the draft sometime tonight or tomorrow. Thanks for all you patience guys. It'll be worth it as this should be fun.

After some consideration,I have decided to keep the draft the way I first proposed. If there is strong feedback that people would rather we make some adjustments, than I am open for your ideas and suggestions.

So as of now, the draft will remain in the same order as first posted...here it is again..

MTL-Katodelder
TOR-Vedder19
BOS-Heatley_wanted
NYR-Barnaby
CHI-jump_the_shark
DET-Cup4Wings
DAL-Ott+Snott
PHL-Porn
PIT-gobert
LA-AnThGrt
STL-Wolfen
BUF-Chileiceman
VAN_Peter
NYI-Mat
CAL-Leafs_fan1001
NJ-Rowley Birkin
WSH-Fischer8
CAR-Wisent
COL-Bender
PHO-Hedberg16
EDM-Murphy2
SJ-Leafs4thecup
TB-sevensteen
OTT-mytor4
FLA-Alexander the Great
ANA-Herculers Rockefeller
NSH-Joe_Strummer
MIN-
ATL-Leaf Lander
CMB-Jacketracket

The order will be similar to that of as a normal draft, 1-30, 1-30 (no snake).

We will decide a time limit for each pick.I do beleive there should be exceptions to the rule. If someone states a specific time that they can make a selection (if it is supposed to be past their alotted time period) than we can cut them some slack,as everyone has their own lives to live, no doubt. Example (ie)... Person A drafts, person B has (lets's say) 4 hours to make selection. If person B, states before his pick, that he can not pick til said time (for whatever the reason, ie... work or personal) than he can chose a time (within reason) that he/she will make their selection. We obviously want this to run as quick and smoothly as possible.

Like I stated before if the majority of people do not wish to do the draft in this format than we can set up a vote, and go from there.

I hope this is to everyone's liking and I look forward to creating our organizations.

Cheers

Porn has left the GM position of Calgary, and has accepted the GM's role of the Philadelphia Flyers.
So as it stands Calgary is without a GM.
First come first serve.

The "Globe and Mail" reports, Leafs_fan1001 has left his duties as GM of the New Jersey Devils and has taken the reigns of the Calgary Flames. We cannot confirm or deny that money was the number one reason for his decision.

And the ownership of the New Jeresy Devils are pleased to announce the signing of Rowley Birkin to fill the vacant GM position. One could speculate that this deal has been it the works for some time now with the timely leave of their former GM, Leafs_fans1001.

I have another suggestion, this one is for when we actually begin the draft. Instead of having a thread in which we have over 1000 posts, how about we set up a new draft thread and each GM has one post in which they keep editing with their new selection. That way it'll be cleaner and easier to follow.

Cheers

If we don't get those last 4 by midnight tonight ... I throw my hat in the ring for a second team (Tampa)

I guess that's what we'll have to resort to. I'd rather we didn't but we'll see how tonight pans out.

Ill take Tampa.

Even though Im a Rangers fan, I think the NY to FLA migration connection more than qualifies me.

Welcome to the "new" NHL!

This just in....

Reports indicate that Jay Feaster has been ousted form his GM position in Tampa Bay, and have rookie GM Balej's Dance taking over the reigns. Stay tuned a as there seems to be a flurry of GM signings....
