Well it looks like you can count Horton out for this yr if the reports are true about the Cats getting ready to send him back to juniors before his 10th game. He'll have the roadtrip up to the NY area to prove himself but looks like he's going back to Oshawa at this point. I hope I'm wrong but it doesn't look good for Nathan.

Zids looked awesome. He's hitting, shooting and passing. He was our Andy Delmore replacement. After 3 games, mission accomplished.

He went for a massive open ice hit on Sejna (I think) and missed but got enough of Sejna that he lost his balance and missed out on a 2-1.

Before the season started, I said Zidlicky without a doubt if he would be eligible. He is 26 already, that is not a problem?

No, no, no, in Finland, not in Sweden! I know it seems irrelevant for you guys but there is a differense. Call us Euros, but don´t call us Swedes. And I don´t have anything against Swedes..

Except us being extremely swedish, right? ;)

But after seeing Pitkänen play against Pittsburgh, I would take him. He has developed loads since last season, and even then he was one of the top prospects. He tried to win the game in the overtime alone...and had 3-4 scoring chances in OT.

Last year Zidlicky was ahead of Pitkänen, tables have probably turned now. Z will still be more productive offensively for another year, but Pitkänen is much bigger and has the same wheels as Z, and better passing and better hockey sense. He does not seem out of place even when he goes on his rushes.

He's not eligible. I thought he was eligible but the source I was using hockeydb.com was wrong. They had him as a year younger than he is.

The Pens aren't going to win a ton of games this year my friend. :teach:

He knows that.

He's just making fun of Fleury and Pens fans, based on my observations from other threads.

I don't think Fleury will win, because he won't carry the workload if he stays (most likely play a lot of home games), and there will be some nights he gets shelled, maybe a lot of nights. It is more of a learning experience as I see it than a step in and be a star.

Fleury of Preissing

Tom Priessing is looking really good. If not him, then Fleury, although he will need more wins.
