There are obviously a ton of options that the U.S. has this year for the World Championships, with many talented players on non-playoff teams..so far. Blake, Higgins, Komisarek, Stastny, Liles, Knuble, Umberger, Hainsey, Hamilton, Weight, Stempniak, Backes, Kessel, Bochenski, Ballard, Thomas, Dipietro, Cole, Hutchinson, Meyer, Graham, etc.. all could play if they so choice, and ofcourse if some of their teams dont make it.
But the main question is, does anyone see any junior/college kids getting a shot this year? Will E Johnson or J Johnson get a shot? How about Bobby Ryan? I heard Nate Davis name mentioned as a possible candidate, should be an interesting team that could be very talented for the first time in a long time. Any thoughts?
