Which team will be in the market for a starter or a backup this off season? Which players could be available in trade? Could we see any goalies bought out? The free agent market is nothing special for goalies.

the Isles are in negotiations with former draft pick Mikko Koskinen

in the regular season in the KHL in 29 games he had a.937 sv pctg 1.55 gaa 5 so
in the playoffs in15 games he had a.935 sv pctg 1.67 gaa 4 so

Koskinen has won the KHL championships two times

and at the olympics he had a.932 sc pctg 1.62 gaa

according to sources the Isles want to bring him back and let him eventually act as a Mentor to Stud Prospect Ilya Sorokin when his KHL contract runs out, or after next season if he negotiates a buyout

Your Worst Nightmare
Leafs have a bunch of backups.

McElhinney - 934 sv% in 18 games
Sparks - 936 sv% in 43 AHL games, named AHL goalie of the year
Pickard - Lots of NHL experience

Carolina
Philadelphia
New York Islanders
St.Louis
Detroit
Colorado
Vancouver

All could use a starting #1 goalie. St.Louis has Allen but I don’t know if he is the guy for them.
