WHL- Zack Hamill, Ben Maxwell, Jonathan Toews
QMJHL- Mathieu Carle, Ben Breault, James Sheppard, Jonathan Bernier
USA- Peter Mueller, Chad Morin, Phil Kessel, Nick Foligno, Blake Geoffrion, Rhett Rakhshani
There were also 2 Slovakian palyers of note who played in the U-17s but I can't seem to find their names at this point.

In 2007:
Angelo Esposito, Michael Biega, Karl Alzner, and also Kerr and Gillies from the WHL Draft.

I hope this helps!

Is Nick related to Mike?

From Russia

Best 1988s: the guy in my avatar is the most well known. He and Andrei Popov (Traktor Chelyabinsk) are the top 2 forwards for this year. Ilya Nefedov (Lokomotiv Yaroslav) and Anton Glovatsky (Magnitogorsk) are pretty good too. Amond the Ds, Pavel Doronin (Ufa), Artur Kutdusov (Ufa), and Ivan Boldyrev (Yaroslav). THere is also a great goalkeeper: Nikita Davydov (from Ufa).

Best 1989: so far, the most dominant guy is Alexey Mikov from Omsk who has an amazing ice vision. The other guy to follow so far is Igor Mirnov's little brother who might end up being better than Igor.

So the guy in your avatar is Vasyunov?
Considering the guy who preceded him it sounds encouraging...are you that high on him?

Yes, he is.
I had Ovechkin in my avatar since we moved from the old boards but since he's gonna be drafted, I figured out I should change it. Originally, I wanted to put Alexei Mikov, but I am not sure I have any picture of him, so I went for Vasyunov. I cannot say I am as high on Vasyunov as I was 2-3 years ago on Ovechkin, which does not mean he won't be as good (note that Vasyunov does not have (yet?) the physical part that Ovechkin always had). Actually, it is still much too early to really do a projection for guys like him or Andrei Popov.
I think I developed a bit more my opinion here:

I forgot Taneli Jaatinen that my list. He was born 88 and he is one of the better players on his own age.
