Both teams have terrific forward lineups. I’d expect each team to look something like this, but I’m not a fan of either team so it could be a bit off.

Jets:
Connor-Scheifele-Wheeler
Ehlers-Little-Laine
Perreault-Roslovic-Petan
Copp-Lowry-Tanev

Leafs:
Hyman-Matthews-Nylander
Marleau-Tavares-Marner
Johnsson-Kadri-Kapanen
Grundstrom-Lindholm-Brown

To me, Jets have the slight edge, but it’s definitely close.

The centre depth is weak for Winnipeg in this comparison. They have a significant advantage on the wing but Tavares Matthews and Kadri down the middle is just filthy

I think Winnipeg has a slight advantage in the total quality of players, but since their best players are mostly wingers and Toronto's are mostly centres, gave it to Leafs

Toronto has better forwards
Winnipeg has a better defence.

Tavares is a bonafide superstar, adding him while Winnipeg losing stastny is what made me pick Toronto.

If the jets still had stastny it would be a coin flip.

It's very close, both teams can score lots of goals. I still like a little more Winnipeg's overall team
