Apparently Meech is having a difficult time in GR. After a nice start, he's been passed on the depth charts by other defensemen.

Yeah that's not really surprising IMO. I figured that he'd probably struggle in his first year, in fact I'm surprised he made the AHL and didn't start the year in the ECHL. He needs to add strength in order to play his game at the NHL. He's not really an offensive dynamo, nor is he a defensive dynamo. He's somewhere in between, label him your sturdy reliable guy, perfect for a third pairing role in the NHL. But again, the strength and adjustment period for him will probably require him to take time.
