He is good defensively but I'm not sure its one of his better assets. He's reliable but more of an offensive minded player.

Don't see why anyone thinks this trade looks bad or will in the near future. He's not better than any of Subban, Josi, Ellis, or Ekholm, and none of them are old anyways. They filled a big hole at 2C long term with the trade.

turris’ game is team play and passing. he makes players around him better and prefers not to be in the spot light by just doing the little things right. his shot and defence are slightly underrated. but it is true he is quite weak on the boards and can’t lead a rush cause he’s also not the strongest on the puck. hell also occasionally deke but it’s got like a 40% success rate

It is, it was a bad scouting report too be honest. He battles and is very good both ways, he is also very clutch in the playoffs im sure he will score an O.T goal that will make everyone forget about his lack of production thus far.

Nashville has more 1st pairing Ds than they need. They've improved their center depth tremendously this season. Johansen/Turris/Bonino is solid.
