When did you start?

For me it was 3 years old (small town sask, what else is there to do?)

When I was maybe 4-5 years old. My school taught us ice skating. Then hockey.

I was 7 when I started skating. No lessons, just put on the skates and head out to the lake with my older brothers.

My son Eric was 2 yers old when he started skating

Roller skated about 5. Stopped then ice about 14. Stopped at 17. Hockey at 23.

I started roller blading my freshman year of college (18). Started roller hockey a couple of months later IIRC. Started ice skating last March (27), started my first ice league this March.

Hows your skating now?

Started playing hockey at 14. Took skating lessons when I was 6, but pretty much had to learn how to skate again.

Just started 'bout 2 months ago... and I'm 35. Having a blast and I can already hockey stop! Helped a lot that I did street inline for about 10 yrs before that though.

Hows your skating now?

I've been skating for 40 years now. It's like walking, I never remember my life when I didn't skate. Not quite as fast as I was 15 years ago but after 2 knee surgeries and a hamstring that I tore in half I guess that's to be expected. I still play against a tier 2 junior team a lot and I can keep up with them. I do hook and hold a little though.
