Hello Capitals fans. A Calgarian here; I come in peace. I'm visiting DC and naturally I went to the game this afternoon. Everyone was very hospitable and polite, and I enjoyed my experience at Verizon Center. Except for one little thing...
What's the deal with the nonfunctional penalty clock on the scoreboard? Is this just a glitch, or is this typical? Just curious. I've never been to a venue that announced time remaining in a penalty, but the poor PA guy at your rink had to.
