Personally, if you asked me to choose one, I'd say 1996:

Great game, great weather, and aesthestically it looked great

Homer vote but the 2016 Grey Cup was awesome. An all time performance from Burris in his curtain call, huge huge comeback from Calgary (which featured a successful onside kick), an exciting OT, and one of the biggest Grey Cup upsets of all time.

1989 Grey Cup has to be up there. They show it now and then on ESPN Classic, and it’s still worth watching after all these years.

The greatest grey cup is a one answer question. It’s the one where the lions defeated baltimore.

It was immediately followed by the worst grey cup where baltimore took the trophy south.

I've watched them all since 1996, which incidentally might still be the best. The blown call on the Flutie fumble that gave Toronto a free touchdown is the one blemish, though it's probably long forgotten by non-Eskimo fans.

Here's how I'd rate the ones I've seen...

Classics: 1996, 2005, 2016

Memorable: 1998, 2000, 2009, 2015, 2017

Decent: 1999, 2003, 2006, 2007, 2014

Forgettable: 1997, 2001, 2004, 2008, 2011, 2012

Duds: 2002, 2010, 2013, 2018
