Easy answer is 88-89

But that run in 03-04 and the fact that I got to enjoy the red mile and the craziness that was that team and the impromptu party just pushes it past the actual win.

Besides we won it in game 6

The right answer is 2001 for Avs fans but I wasn't an avid fan at that point. So probably 13-14

For the Canucks, I should say 2010-11...but that a pretty bitter taste in the end.

1993-94 also was great, and the ending wasn't nearly as bitter as 2011. But the regular season wasn't really all that special.

I'm going to say 2002-03. Had a very good, very fun team to watch. They could have made more noise, potentially even SCF if not for Cloutier

I was only 4 in 1994 so that doesn't count. I loved the 2012 Rangers led by Callahan and Dubinsky. McDonagh looked as if he was on the verge of becoming a perennial Norris contender.

And say what you want about Torts, his team played their dicks off and outworked their opponents every night.

I also have very fond memories of the 2008 playoffs and invading the rock in Games 1, 2 and 5.

Pens: 1992 was fun. 2001 with Lemieux's comeback was amazing. 2009 was pretty good. 2016 was pretty great.

Tough to choose.

While the vast majority of Ranger fans will say 1994 (and rightfully so), those of us who were around and saw that 1979 team's march to the finals....well, it was extremely magical.

2004.

2016 was great and all but that 2004 team was good AND exciting to watch. If the 2004 Sharks had Thornton they would have won the Cup handily.

Became a fan in 2006. All we Oiler fans hear about is the 80s glory days but I don't feel any connection to it

Even as a Canucks fan, I was cheering for that Calgary team after you beat us.

Oh boy that was fun.

The Oilers' team I enjoyed watching the most was the '88 playoff team, which -- against expectations -- won it all going 16-2, beating three of the top-5 teams in the NHL (incl. sweeping the 1st overall team).

However, although it was a bit before my time, the 1984-85 team is my favorite. One of my strong memories of childhood is the clinching game five of the Finals, when Edmonton destroyed Philly 8-3 to win their second Cup in a row. That's actually the first hockey game I can remember watching in full. It's been all downhill from there...
