1939 Boston Bruins.

There was a lot going on in the world that year including the start of World War 2.

Unfortunately, the Bruins.

.... oh c'mon.... I was happy, ecstatic in fact that the Bruins after years of being League doormats so quickly & dramatically turned it around, arrival of Orr, Cheevers, Sanderson, "The Trade" etc.... Besides, love Boston, Bostonians.... New Englanders... they deserved that & more after staying faithful, supporting the Bruins through all those years, missing the Playoffs. Particularly happy for guys like Johnny Bucyk, Don Awrey, Eddie Johnston...

Thanks!

Don't forget, we were Red Sox fans too.

Talk about fan hell.
