Perhaps we could get some insight from a coach or advanced player. What system/plays does Toronto run?

For example, Ottawa using the 1-3-1.

Would like to get people’s insight on this. I know they try to run a possession game but does anyone notice certain nuances with the way they structure their defence or forwards?

2-2-1 with the "grinder" digging for pucks behind the net

We set up as a 2-2-1..but man, this team really plays as a 2-1-2 most of the time.

Which is why, when we get those quick passes out of the neutral zone, we are flying and we can score QUICK and mount that famous leafs pressure.
Ironically, is also why, when we get hemmed in, we are HEMMED IN, and can't do anything but Ice the puck, and play hail mary passing.

Highest GF and GA would explain lol

Huh? We aren't even close to having the highest goals against...we're actually above average. (12th)
And 6th best in goals for, not the best.
