Interesting feature on the aftermath of the demise of NCAA Div I hockey at Kent State in 1994.

Good article. I remember well when the team folded and the shock of the students. The hockey team probably had the most ardent supporters at that school.

As a side note; Carol Cartwright went from Kent to Bowling Green and nearly killed their hockey program as well.

The real answer: A team of wannabe's forms a club so they can tell everyone they played "college hockey."
