Because the fan base is getting younger/bigger/more excited. The team has been generating more fans the last couple of yrs and we're back in the playoffs after 5 yrs... lot of young adults with money who are dying to go to a playoff game who didn't have those funds 5 yrs ago.

Go dorvals. My Facebook feed says 6yrs ago I was shaking kovy's hand and getting my son's jersey signed before they made their run to the finals. I was wearing my Sean Burke jersey. If there are any oracles out there please feel free to help me understand the omens involved here, since our new #1 is leading us to the promised Land.

As much as I want Hall to hit 40 goals, I'm thinking they should rest him, especially if Tom Wilson is in the Caps lineup. Also, maybe start Schneider.

Schneider might be to help even things out and give you guys some help!:sarcasm:

should be an interesting chess match here.

Should the Devils go with Cory and at least give him a shot at showing that he CAN come back.....next season as Kinky's backup? :naughty:

Or do we feel that we might be able to better our playoff positioning and stick with Kinky, and just try to get two points today?

Play Schneider and see if he can get something going before the playoffs start.

I really want Schneider to get a game, but the #3 seed is on the line

We don't control our destiny for the 3 seed anyway. I don't really think they'll go pedal to the metal just to pick their road series (especially if the Flyers somehow lose and the Devils can't move down). I know the argument is you can stay out of the Atlantic bracket with a win and play WAS/PIT instead of TB/BOS but I really don't look at it as that big a difference, the point totals of the top Atlantic teams are a bit inflated with all their division chaff anyway.

Especially since one from each division has been a harder matchup for us all season. I’m also of the thinking that you don’t “wish” for any particular matchup. Just make sure we are going into the playoffs playing good hockey.
