In case you haven't noticed, Los Angeles Kings forwards Dustin Brown and Anze Kopitar are off to fast starts through the team's first three games, each with three goals and three assists.

Last eeason, Kopitar didn't score his third goal of the season until mid-December, 23 games into the season.

What's different this year for both Brown and Kopitar? What are they doing that's gotten them off to a hot start, and what role is rookie left wing Alex Iafallo playing in their early success?

Kopitar and head coach John Stevens discussed all that on October 13, and you can read what they had to say in...

The puck is actually going in the net.

Brown was awesome last season, but he seemed to get shafted on the goal side last year.

And the fact that they are both attacking the middle of the ice with ferociousness not seen since the cup runs... I actually thought Kopi would score 30 goals and Brownie 20, thankfully it looks like I might be right... 70's line needs to score and our 3rd is pretty disappointing... on the plus side our D looks great.. Quick looks healthy and our defensemen are above average..
