I always wanted a Whalers jersey, they where my favorite team and had my favorite player (still the same).

Nobody here has a blue away jersey with Sanderson on the back up for sale, am I right?
You can get vintage jerseys from all kind of teams, but not Hartford...

Tell me about it. I want 80's green though. I remember going to the NHL draft in Hartford and just falling in love with the old Civic Center. About 3 weeks ago I went to an AHL game there only to see that they the mall is no more. My heart sunk and IMO hockey in Hartford will never be the same.

How horrible a name is the Hurricanes? Hurricanes kill a lot of people every fall in the Carolinas, and they're naming a team after them. It's like calling your team the Tokyo Sarin or Oklahoma City Bombers.

Yeah, people kill Whales too.

I miss the Whalers.

I remember reading a story, though it didn't get far at the time, from a person protesting the Colorado Avalanche name for the same reason.
