WHA resurrection

I would be honored to be associated with this fantastic league and it's fabulous owners, players, mascots and arenas. As a matter of fact I believe I'll start saving to buy the league the next time it is for sale.

In honour of Mike Modano, I think Dallas WHA franchise should have this for their mascot.

Check the date on the thread, specifically that one post. It is YOU who are unaware of time!

Anyways... i'm going to play coy and contribute to the thread productively. There simply is no room in the hockey universe for the WHA. The AHL did a great job absorbing some of the brunt of the lockout, while increasing general interest and attendance and having arguably one of their best seasons ever.

Right now i'm not looking to the WHA to compete with the NHL, i'm looking at if even the WHA can run with the AHL.. or even the ECHL
