Just want to know what everyone thinks of S.Weiss

What kind of minutes will he get this season...projections?

Career Potential?

Star? Semi-Star? Average Player?
Just general long/short term expectations

Reason Im asking: Keeper league someone offered me Weiss for Kaigorodov (sens prospect)...trying to decide if I should accept

[J17 Vs Proclamation]

I'd say Semi-star upsides. He will most likely be a very good second line captain, with an outside shot of become a top line center. He played great last year until his injury to the wrist which meant he missed a large part of the season. The wrist is fully healed now. He is a good skater, great playmaking skills and is gonna help our PP alot.
He'll play with Olesz/Roberts and Horton/Bertuzzi. He is gonna get alot of points feeding the puck to Horton or Bertuzzi. He may end up with 60-70 points this season.

Stu Barnes is what he's inclined to become.

Stu Barnes is what he's inclined to become.

With more offensive skillz, upside and Weiss is more good skater (fast) then Barnes.

But yeah you can compare him to Barnes, but a mid-late 90' Barnes.
