Olesz: he is younger, a smart defensive player and has offensive upside.

Weiss has crazy offense, but thats about it.

If you have to choose between Weiss and Olesz, wich one did you take? And why?

Olesz. Weiss looks to be a solid 2nd line center for hte future with great creativity but he doesn't have the strength to be anything more than that. Olesz is a very good 3rd liner right now and does everything well, plus is younger and has so much strength. Both play similar styles but Olesz has the ability to walk out of the corner with a man all over him. Weiss needs to depend on his linemates much more than Rusty and Rusty has the ability, while most likely to be a very nice 2nd line player for us, to still be a first line player in the future. Weiss doesn't have that really so I'd take Olesz but it's close.

Olesz is just stronger physically and I think that's the difference. Weiss is a better playmaker but Olesz has more potential at this point.

I noticed he was used on the 3rd line, but i didnt realize he actually had defensive instincts

Olesz. Although I think Weiss will be a fine player in the future. Both will get better imo.
