Didn't he seem better when he was playing top minutes with EJ than he does now? Maybe other teams have just figured him out.

Bednar wasn't worried about Girard's gaffe during the last game so I doubt he gets scratched. He (Bednar) blamed it partially on other players being slow coming off the ice, leaving Girard with little options.
