Caggiula-McDavid-Slepyshev, the wingers have good chemistry, speed, and shots
Maroon-Hopkins-Draisaitl, try it again it was magic last time
Pouliot-Desharnais-Kassian, The Frenchies have been great, play them more
Lucic-Letestu-Eberle, The wingers have been **** and Letestu does nothing at evens, they should barely play.

I'd mostly be playing 3 lines and using Letestu as a faceoff specialist on dzone draws. Lucic and Eberle need to wake the **** up along with the refs.

Its okay to lose to a better team? You're serious with that?

I'd love nothing more than to kick the **** out of the Ducks but I don't think it's happening.

I dunno, a hard cross check to the ribs behind the play slowed Maroon down pretty good. He's still not the same.

Prison rules giveth, prison rules taketh away. I'm just upset that Lucic wasted his stupid goon penalty on a nobody like Kase.

I don't think anyone on the Oilers knows what the rules are, sadly.

That's debatable when you get jobbed by the refs so hard. It'd suck to lose, but if you are just outmatched, fine. Getting ****ed by the league out of the playoffs is a hard pill to swallow.

It's called game management.

It's something saavy veteran teams get refs to do, when they're from California or something.

Someone tried explaining it to me, but it made no sense. Something about expanding southern markets.

I'm not giving up but I'm not hopeful either. If they don't win this game the Ducks will win the series. They're not going to get punked in their building a third straight time.

There's a difference between not being hopeful and conceding the series to the Ducks when you are up 2-1 in the series and only down 1 goal going into the 3rd. I too think the Ducks are the better team and it's tough to battle a better team and the refs but the better team doesn't always win the series.

Useless players will be jettisoned into the sun this offseason, the question is how many. 20 minutes to prove you aren't a useless crybaby and score a ****ing goal. Could see an Oilers implosion coming from a mile away and it's not surprising that they are trailing this one. Win please.

The officiating has been end the sport brutal! But it will be interesting to see what team skates out of that locker room this period.

Have an us against the world mentality and make sure that by the end of the game that we win or if we don't that there's blood on the ice.

They look shocked out there. They currently have no answer for Ryan Getzlaf.

And with our entire second line being terrible we just can't match up.

It's okay to concede that we're going to lose to a better team.

If you feel it's ok, then we'll see you when it's draft time. Have fun until then.

god I hope LV takes Eberle. But they won't because he is garbage.

Justin Shultz of forwards, the losing ruined him here. He'll turn it around somewhere else, Eberle can't handle being a whipping boy his confidence is shot.

It is but come on, it's the NHL. This is a league that continues to get outclassed by NASCAR and soccer. This is a league that couldn't market water to people living in a desert.

And Dog conformation. And Darts. And Poker. And Bowling.

It's no wonder why when the league is so grossly and incompetently run.

From the hindering of its star players, to its archaic marketing strategy, to its officiating that is destroying the quality of the game. It's almost like it's trying to purposefully fail.

Lol I hope you idiot Eberle defenders can finally open your eyes.

Couldn't have said it better myself. I dont care if he scores 50 when he leaves for peanuts!
He has without a doubt stopped caring and stopped competing. Its on TMac to ensure he doesn't see another shift this period.
Enough of this taking it dry, I wanna see an outraged coach in his post game presser win or lose. Im tired of our management giving the league a pass because we are "learning"!
**** that call a spade a spade and pay the fine instead of pumping the ducks tires and talking about lessons!
LETS GO OILERS!!!!!

The league isn't going to be held accountable. It doesn't matter if it's ruining the game. It doesn't matter if the game is unexciting. It happened. That's not going to change. So the Oilers have two options.

1) Put your tail between your legs, play afraid and go gently into the night. That's what the Oilers demonstrated frighteningly well in the 2nd period.

2). Man up, give the middle finger to the refs and the Ducks and own the game like you did in the first. Stop feeling sorry for yourself because of crap calls and play like you care.

Adversity happens. Play through it.

There's adversity when you're playing hurt. This is something entirely different.

Hell I can set my watch to an early amount of sustained pressure by the Oilers followed by a chintzy call for the Ducks.

Eberle needs to redeem himself and get either the game tying goal or game winner. That would just give him the confidence he needs right now.

I'd like to see a reply of the hit on Draisaitl at the end of the period. Was it a good hip check or a trip?

See, I honestly try to be as unbiased on reviews. That was a very weak interference if any. I agree, his skate gets bumped and marginally bumped at the top of the crease. I don't really give much thought either way and thought it would go 50-50.

Why let that drain you? We have Connor Mcdavid. I was never the best soccer player on my team but one year we had a guy like that and I never felt really out of it.

It amazes me that breaks between periods just CRUSH us

Everyone is staring at the right skate but I'm looking at Talbot's blocker that's getting dragged away by Perry's leg. Split second later puck goes in on that side. Very disappointing.

I always want to get value back for a player, but at this rate letting LV take Eberle, and his salary away from this team is starting to look better, and better.
