Seriously people still going to defend Talbot for this game? This loss is 75 percent his fault. Just a horrendous performance by him.

This is playing out almost exactly the way Game 4 against the Ducks in '06 did with the only difference being that the Oilers already had a 3-0 lead at that point in '06.

My relationship with the Oilers is abusive.

How many goals off pucks forced up the wall be defensemen are we going to have to watch before changes are made?

i knew once wagner got that easy goal on Talbot, Gibson would shut it down and so far he has. Gotta rebound and hopefully win game 4, if we lose well all momentum on ducks side and they could end this in 6.

Don't think we'd lose that much production from having Tkachev, and trading Eberle for whatever -- just to free up cap space would be enough. Tkachev would cost like 20% of what Eberle does, and probably scores 40-50 points pretty much every season (just my opinion, but I think it's reasonable judging by his skill level). But maybe Eberle will wake up; we'll see.

Talbot's fault or not - why didn't they pull him after it was 3-0 and give him some rest? Broissot has proved he can play.
