Recap after 3 games:

1- Avs didn't have the lead for one single second yet
2- Dallas could, and should, lead 3-0 and it's not on Georgiev
3- This was Mackinnon best regular season ever and it's currently his worst playoff run ever
4- Rantanen is the same in the playoffs than he was in the regular season
5- Parise isn't a top 6 player and we miss Drouin badly

The sad thing about the series so far is how much the Stars are skating around the Avs for 2/3 of each game so far.

But literally the opposite is true....


The Avs have been the better team for 40 minutes pretty much every game. But the Stars are counterattacking extremely well, getting better goaltending, and the Avs aren't working hard enough despite all the possession and zone time.

Stars are so good without the puck.
Screening guys off, taking away passing lanes, closing all the space. Then capitalazing so effectively on their chances that ever so often start from turnovers. Props to them for perfectly executing what I think is the most frustrating hockey to watch as a fan of the team that tries and tries to break them.

There is some serious hatred going on in both those Eastern Conference series right now. There's a possibility whoever comes out of the East will be pretty banged up by the time they get to the Finals.

Thats not the Avs problem now, is it?
