In 2011, injuries to many of our key players likely cost us the cup: Malhotra, Kesler, Erhoff, Raymond, Edler, Hamhuis, and others.

Let us pray...

Dear Lord, let our loved ones be free from injury, and let us go forth into battle unfettered by trauma. Grant us the means, O Lord, to succeed entirely due to your all-knowing, all-encompassing goodwill, compassion and love. Thank you, O lord.

Amen.

That lineup is so bad, Beau on the second line? Novak and Evan are sneaky under the radar guys who could get some points.

Oh boy, 3 different ads blasting at the same time.

Beauvillier has actually had some pretty big playoff moments. A nightmare season for him, but I’d keep an eye on him.

I’m guessing we roll with…

Suter - Miller - Boeser
Mikheyev - Pettersson - Hoglander
Joshua - Lindholm - Garland
Podkolzin - Blueger - Lafferty

Hughes - Hronek
Myers - Zadorov
Cole - Soucy

Well apparently Beauvillier is a playoff performer, so I guess we're about to find out.

Andrew Brunette seems like an amazing coach, that roster does not look good but that team is legitimately good, especially at 5v5.

Lauzon led the league in hits. Also have Schenn back there. Guys have to keep their heads up esp when the intensity sets in in the series. Expecting this game to be close, tight checking and lo scoring. Canucks come out with the win is my GUESS

Prepared for:

HEY! YOU SUCK!

HEY! YOU SUCK!

WE'RE GONNA BEAT THE HELL OUT OF YOU.

“I like it, I love it, I want some more of it.

I try so hard, I can’t rise above it.

Don’t know what it is ‘bout the Predators scoring … but

I like it, I love it, I want some more of it.”

Their bottom 6 is very much playoff built. Big, physical, fast checking forwards that all play with a bunch of bite and snarl.

Evangelista is their pest like Garland is for us. Novak had 5 hits all season in 70 games, soft as butter not worried about him. Their defense is physical, not big, but have two high volume hitters back there. Top 5 defenseman and a top 5 shutdown defensemen. And a first line that’s as good as any.

This series is not going to be easy at all.
