Kind of wondering if the Canucks have a bit of mental letdown after last nights game...The momentum shift has to be riding on the side of Nashville for this game.

DeSmith or Silovs?
Mikhayev in your top3 lines? And if not who comes into his spot
Suter Hoglander do we keep these guys where they are?
Stack 2 lines or roll 3 with 9 40 and Lindholm down the middle?
Rick needs to do something. The only change he's made all series is Lafferty swapping with Mikheyev
Yeah Dhaliwal need to do something other than talking to agents and drinking Crown Royal.Rick needs to do something. The only change he's made all series is Lafferty swapping with Mikheyev
Those who hate fancy stats - look away.
Canucks' HDCF% is 61.43% (2nd highest in play-offs), yet HDSH% is 10% (lowest in play-offs). This made me go ''well, that matches the eye test'' and ''Christ'' simultaneously.
Translation for us dummies?
Canucks get a lot of high danger chances but don't actually convert those into goals.
I miss Sami Salo.Whats the point of Hronek having a bomb of a shot if all if he is going to do is try and hit skates , hoping for a deflection with a slap pass.
Take a tequilla shot everytime a Canuck chooses to slap pass rather than shoot. Youll be wasted by 1st intermission and blacked out by the end of the game.

Just let it rip. The fact that we have 90 shots in 5 games is absolutely pathetic especially since Saros is struggling and fighting the puck.
IMO Tochett is getting outcoached in this series. He hasnt been able to figure out how to gain the advantage in the neutral zone and have sustained attack on this Nashville defense that has the likes of Barrie, Fabbro and other plugs in it.
One last observation, Boeser sucks when it comes to Powerplay entries. The puck and play always dies on his stick when we try and gain entry on the PP. He has no clue what to do when he pass it to him in the entry and he is on the wingboard. Tochett might want to change that and have Boeser be the guy we do the drop pass too so he can be in the neutral zone with speed rather than the board guy for the entry.
They seem afraid to simply take shots they don't think will be a goal despite dirty rebounds being exactly how you score in the playoffs. Who cares if Hronek's slapper doesn't hit the net. Make Nashville terrified of blocking it so eventually they either stop altogether or get hesitate which will open up new passing lines.
Our obsession in looking for the perfect set play is exactly why we have so few shots on goal. Saros has been rather chaotic to boot, and they aren't taking advantage of that whatsoever.
They need to post "shoot the puck" on the board in dressing room !! Can't score if don't shoot. Stop looking for the perfect shot ugly goals count to and we need some !They have to start shooting the puck more look at the Lindholm goal in game 1 and Zadorovs goal last night. Saros definitely has his weaknesses.
I miss Sami Salo.
