Winning 4 out of 5 with three games in Vegas is almost impossible.

Vegas is a well-oiled machine and is only going to get better as the team chemistry settles with the new additions.

Nicolas Hague signed a 3 year / $6,882,450 contract with the Vegas Golden Knights, including $6,882,450 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $2,294,150. In 2024-25, Hague will earn a base salary of $2,700,000, while carrying a cap hit of $2,294,150.

Alec Martinez signed a 3 year / $15,750,000 contract with the Vegas Golden Knights, including $15,750,000 guaranteed, and an annual average salary of $5,250,000. Contract Notes: 2021-22: 16-team no trade list. 2022-23: 12-team no trade list.

Who else came out of the lineup to fit his 3 million difference into the lineup? Did they play short handed to fit them all in? Someone told me without Martinez the group was barely compliant game 1, was this not the case in game 2?

There is no cap in the PO. Every roster is compliant

Dallas is dealing more with the common issue of young and or inexperienced core players “figuring out” the playoffs.

Vegas was not a top team this year, so even getting their guy back there’s no reason Dallas shouldn’t be very in this series other than execution.

Said in another thread, it’s a matter of mental game and execution. Vegas is not better than the LTIR Bolts, and Dallas is definitely better than that years Isles who took it to the Bolts.

If they lose, I really hope the majority of Dallas fans don’t take the cop out route. These Knights are beatable. I feel safe betting the don’t repeat.

They are playing defending champs who are 15M over the cap and just a nightmare match up for them
the cap part doesn't matter

the nightmare match up looks like it'd be true no matter who they were playing. they're looking very mediocre to start.

I blame Debeor, and I think the sooner Stars Fans realize how great it is to blame Debeor the happier they'll be.

I just wanted it noted, I'm not necessarily saying it's Debeors fault, I'm just blaming him.

The cap part doesn’t matter?

Of course it matters when you can ice 2 extra quality players

But Vegas fear goes beyond these 2 games for Dallas, Vegas was the team they were having a rough go
